Strategic is an important issue of business management, enterprise should take a proactive attitude rather than a passive attitude to respond in the industry competition.Strategic Management allows businesses to be more proactive rather than shaping their own future passively. It enables enterprises to be creative, leading the trend,rather than passively respond to environmental changes. It enables businesses to control their own destiny. Entrepreneur, CEO, president and managers of a number of for-profit and non-profit organizations have known and understood the benefits of strategic management. Strategic choice of the Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket is taken on as the object of the research in this paper. Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket was established in December 2006. Its establishment is to coordinate the policy of "promoting fresh supermarkets, reforming farmers markets" of doing practical things for the people of Xiamen municipal government. Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket is a management company of fresh chain supermarket and community convenience stores.Firstly, this paper describes the background and significance of the topic selection,results of relevant research home and abroad, research ideas of this article, structures and methods, business strategy theory analysis of community-based chain supermarket, operating status of chain stores. The above lays a theoretical foundation for strategic choice for the Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket. Secondly, this paper carries out SWOT analysis for the Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket, and lays a realistic basis for strategic choice of the Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket. Finally,this paper makes a scientific strategic choice for the Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket-differentiation focus strategy.This paper integrates theory with practice. The conclusion has certain pertinence to the Xia Shang Min Xing Supermarket. The conclusion has guiding value to corporate strategic decisions and has certain experience to other supermarkets.Meanwhile, in the process of implementation of the strategy due to the large changes in the external environment and internal conditions, changes in the market situation ismore complicated with each passing day. Thus, in the implementation of the strategy,certain strategic contents and features should change with the changes of the external environment.
