The Research On Coordinated Development Of Hotel Industry And Regional Economy In Juangsu Province

Due to the rapid development of global economic integration and domestic tourist industry,large amount of private capital rushed into hotel industry.At the same time,international hotel management group also entered the domestic market.Continuous scale growth,thin income,imbalanced hotel values in a region as well as over capacity are seen in this industry in China,which will lead to structural disequilibrium directly and therefore become an obvious obstacle for the continuous development of hotel industry in China.The structural disequilibrium reflects the imbalance of regional development directly.Meanwhile the supply of hotels is restricted by the geographic space.The competition in the field is regional,so the connect between the hotel development and regional development is noticeable.In this paper,the coordination between the economic and hotel development in Jiangsu province,which features strong economic power and developed tourism,was researched.Firstly,the methods of research on hotel and regional economy and of coordination measurement were combed and concluded;secondly,the theoretical basis related with regional economy and hotel was illustrated.Then interacting mechanism between regional economy and hotel development was discussed through qualitative analysis;then the static harmonious development degree between regional economy and hotel in Jiangsu was measured through membership function model,a mature method in harmonious development measurement,and coordination between regional economy and hotel development was calculated with time continuity introduced.Policy suggestions were proposed based on the above analysis.At last is the conclusion,with possible research direction proposed according to the problems identified during research.Research conclusions are as follows:(1)in the aspect of static coordination,the relation between regional economy and hotel in Jiangsu during the research period is basically harmonious according to the average value.But in detail,the static coordinated development is very fluctuant,and shows similar changing trend with hotel development in the two periods.(2)in the aspect of dynamic coordination,coordinated development of hotel and regional economy in Jiangsu declined from top quality to middle imbalance.
