Research On The Development Strategies Of Small And Medium-sized Airport Logistics

Being the global manufacturing center,Chinese airport logistics development ushered in a rare historical opportunity with the increasing demanding for air freight under economic globalization.As the development of worldwide airport logistics is leveraging speedy economic globalization,the numerous airports,especially small and medium-sized ones in China must not miss the boat.According to the statistics of civil aviation,larger airports in China with their regional advantages,comprehensive strength,carrying the majority of the air freight volumes,some of them,such as Shanghai Pudong International Airport,the cargo throughput has reached saturation point,while small and medium sized airports have little development in the airport logistics for their sizes,volumes,hardware facilities,remote and other reasons.Small and medium-sized airports will miss the new growth point of development unless take advantage of the opportunity.This thesis systematically analyzing the logistics development strategy of small and medium-sized airport,applying related theories,research methods,combined with working practice to w airport.In the first place,this thesis mastering related theoretical definition and the connotation of development by consult the literature at home and abroad,finding success examples of airport logistics development which is fit with the direction of this study in the researching of domestic and international airport logistics development,and providing for the comprehensive study reference.Subsequently,this thesis analyzing the general situation of the development of China’s small and medium-sized airport logistics,and in-depthly analyzing the strengths and weaknesses,opportunities and threats of the w airport logistics development with SWOT analytical method.Basing on which programming its strategy choice,and giving practical implementation of the recommendations,including expanding route network,improving the logistics infrastructure,strengthening the construction of information,introducing air cargo business,leveraging e-commerce development,in order to illumine the research of the logistics development strategy of small and medium-sized airports.
