Along with the economic prosperity and development, China's GDP has been stably ranked in the second place worldwide. Our manufacture industry has been booming as well. These lead to increased corporate transformations from previously simple and small-sized business entities to larger-sized group enterprises with diversified business undertakings. With intensified intercompany competition, the product gap in the same industry is minimized and the product homogeneity has become an even popular phenomenon. The competition that previously was amongst companies has evolved into the one that lies in their supply chains. Thus, how to better manage the supply chain, how to increase the supply chain's KPI level and how to reduce the corporate's overall supply chain cost become huge challenges that each company is faced with. Most group companies have chosen and adopted centralized management model in supply chain from the past conventionally dispensed model in order to increase the supply chain efficiency, to obtain the scale advantages, to directly reduce the overall cost of the company's supply chain and consequently to boost the corporate competiveness.This paper describes purchase, inventory and logistics in "supply chain management", the three aspects that cover the core parts and key components of the corporate supply chain cost and largely determine the total corporate cost. Thus, this paper applies various theories and tools relating corporate strategies, project managements, operations management, supply chain managements and data models etc. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis and the case study of the practice and planning in supply chain management of FT Group (China), this paper investigates the centralized management in FT Group (China) with focus on the three aspects of purchase, inventory and warehouse distribution in supply chain management. The paper intends to provide theoretical supports and feasible references for FT Group's management in purchase, inventory and storing distribution in the supply chain management environment. In the meantime, it offers other firms with meaningful theories and practice guidelines.This paper is composed with six chapters. The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and the content structures, describes the management meanings in studying group company's implementation of centralized management in purchase, inventory and distribution in the supply chain environment. The second chapter defines relevant theories and concepts in supply chain management and centralized management. The third chapter mainly studies the drawbacks and improvement plan on the three key issues of purchasing, inventory and distribution under the current supply chain management environment in FT Group (China).The fourth chapter investigates and researches the management models and implementation plan of centralized purchasing under the supply chain management in FT Group (China).The fifth chapter researches implementation plan and improvement program in centralized inventory management under the supply chain management in FT Group (China).The sixth chapter studies and researches implementation plan of the centralized distribution management under supply chain management in FT Group (China).The last part is the summary and review of the whole paperwork.
