The Research On Regional Coordinating Development In Fujian Province

Since the reform and opening up, China's economic and social development has made remarkable achievements. The level of development of productive forces and the total economic output have risen rapidly and people's living standards and quality have been also significantly improved. However, it can not be neglected that the unbalanced, uncoordinated and unsustainable problems in China's development still exist. On the basis of profoundly summing up the experience of development since the reform and opening up, the fifth plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committe put forward to insist and perfect the five development concepts of "innovation, coordination, green development, opening up, and sharing" as the core. It is also proposed to "focus on promoting the coordinated development of urban and rural areas, promoting the coordinated development of economy and society, promoting the simultaneous development of new industrialization, informationization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, and strengthening the national hard power while enhancing the national soft power." Therefore, under the new situation, how to deal with the important relations in the development, especially dealing with the coordinated development of the region and promoting the comprehensive and coordinated development of the economy and society, have become the focus of attention of all walks of life. This article takes Fujian Province as the research object and takes the five development concepts, the theory of regional coordinated development with Chinese characteristics, regional balanced development theory and other related theories as the instruction. On the basis of combing the policy course of coordinated development of Fujian Province since the reform and opening up, taking the current construction of Fujian Free Trade Zone, Ecological Civilization Experimental Zone and Marine Silk Road Core Area as the turning point, this paper comprehensively uses politics, economics and other disciplines of knowledge to analyze the issues discussed in the study from different disciplines and different perspectives, which provide some new proofs for the research in this fieldFirstly, this paper combs the regional coordinated development policy of Fujian Province in different periods since the reform and opening-up. This study makes an overall grasp of the coordinated development of Fujian from different time dimensions and systematically analyzes the Fujian Province's policy background in different periods. Combined with the current construction of the "new Fujian" requirements, it has a certain reference value for fully understanding the situation and the status of Fujian regional coordinated development at present. Secondly, using the method of political science and sociology, this paper analyzes qualitatively the problems of regional coordinated development in Fujian Province. It also points out that the current regional coordinated development of Fujian Province has four main problems, such as shortage of talent, shortage of ecological compensation mechanism, insufficient competitiveness of cultural industry and inadequate integration of urban and rural areas in regional development. It further analyzes the reasons for the existence of the problem. Finally, combining with the actual needs of the current development and the development strategy of the past, some suggestions on how to promote the coordinated development of Fujian Province are put forward from the aspects of fostering modern economic and trade talents, perfecting the ecological compensation mechanism, enhancing the core competitiveness of culture and perfecting the urban-rural integration mechanism.
