HG Company General Contracting Project Manager Competency Research

General contracting project manager becomes a problem of various types of rollup companies are increasingly concerned,especially the recent development of foreign markets,but also requires a lot of competent general contractor project manager.During visits to the enterprise found,a general contracting project is very important factor is the general contractor of the project manager attitude,behavior and ability level of the problem.With China's economic development,China's total engineering contracting business opportunities and challenges,turnkey project management success of the project,as well as companies compete in an invincible position plays a vital role.In this study,HG general contracting project manager for the study,using a combination of various methods of competency were studied,including general contracting company HG Project Manager Competency Model,HG general contracting company is currently project manager competency and the level of outstanding general contracting company HG competency project managers and the like.In this paper,the behavior event interview,questionnaire and exploratory factor analysis,variance analysis of HG general contracting company project manager competency was discussed.The results found that turnkey project manager competency includes seven major categories,according to the importance of descending order,are: team building and project management skills,positive thinking and emotion management,technology management and process management capabilities,the expression and interpersonal skills,self-management skills,resources and tools to integrate application ability,observation ability and incentive management,it said,a good HG general contracting company project manager,project team building and management skills,positive thinking and emotional management skills,technology management andprocess management capabilities,are the most important.Minimum standards for qualified general contracting project manager is to have the capacity to respond,cooperation,occupation passion,achievement-oriented feature a total of four.For general contracting project manager,most need to improve the overall concept,people-oriented,conflict resolution,team building,fair,emotional stability six areas;of which,the overall concept,people-oriented,fair,mood stabilizers four needs by improving the selection criteria is achieved;conflict resolution,team building needs through training and education to achieve.
