Study On Approaches And Methods Of Implementing General Contracting For Project Participants

Because of advantages of reducing costs, shortening duration, improving quality,reducing disputes, the general contracting is used widely abroad, and now its development isvery mature. In recent years, china has initiated the development of general contracting, butthere are still some problems in the development process, such as single function forenterprises, lack of general contracting capacity about planning, financing, design,procurement, construction, commissioning, lack of general contracting companies, imperfectof general contracting laws, regulations, policy system, which affect the promotion anddevelopmentofgeneralcontractingseriouslyinourcountry.Firstly, the paper introduces the domestic and foreign construction market and thedevelopment of general contracting, and summarizes the general contracting development oftheory and research results. Secondly, several patterns of general contracting and someproblems in the process are introduced and analyzed respectively. Thirdly, according to thesituation of Chinese construction, it points out the approaches and methods of implementinggeneral contracting for survey, design, construction, and supervision to develop generalcontracting and make them much stronger.
