Compensation management, as a core and strategic function in the human resources management, not only plays a vital role to the companies to attract, retain and motivate talents, but also stimulates employees' initiatives and creativity. Effective compensation management can achieve a win-win goal for both the companies and the employees. Sales department is an important department to companies to make the profit and meet the demand of the market. As a result, compensation management system of sales department becomes the top priority among the sales management.This article selects the sales department of E company as the research object, introduces the basic situation and the impact of large-scale mergers and acquisitions in E company, studies and analyzes the present situation and the characteristic of compensation system in E company, indicates the current problems and causes existing in the compensation management and system, raises improvement measures and suggestions of compensation system for Sales Department in E company.Based on the compensation related theories and research findings, this article can use the reformation, improvements and suggestions of compensation system in Sales Department of E Company, such as the improvement measures in the phases of formulating, executing and evaluating compensation system, to provide the worthwhile solutions for the companies with similar industry background and same type of company scale.Under the influence of rapid change and development of the global business environment, we should pay attention to the constant change and innovation to meet the needs of future sales compensation management and to achieve the optimal incentive for sales staff. Thus making the sales department becomes the key bridge connecting the company with the customers, to attract and retain customers successfully.
