Research On Great China Procurement Management Improvement For L Group Company

Under the circumstances of economy globalizing, internationalizing and internet unifying, Corporation is facing increasingly intense competition. Under the complicated market, such as existing products over-supplied, new products promoted, which leading to the real economy recessing, in order to survive in this market, cost reduction becomes the main target for most of the Corporation to increase their own strengths and competitiveness. The open and extending discussion of improve procurement which is one of the factors that has crucial impact on the cost structures has vital and instructive significance.The author has reviewed global and local relative theories. Based on analyzing L Group Company four plants in greater China of the actual situation of purchasing management, the author gets following conclusions. First of all, the root cause is the high procurement cost and the low on time rate for supplier delivery. Second, through analyzing and improving the purchasing management organization, purchasing management strategy, purchasing process and the present situation and problems of supplier management, the author suggests to set up the new purchasing organization structure and the great China procurement strategy, to optimize and improve purchasing system and procurement and supplier management process. Finally, the analysis for after-improvement data has shown the validity and success of the improvement action of greater China purchasing management. Fundamentally it solves the problems of high purchasing cost and low delivery rate. This article has a strong practical significance not only for corporations in this field but also other similar Group Company to improve their greater China procurement management.
