The Research Of Internet Enterprise's Financial Strategy Based On Value Chain

Michael Porter's theory of value chain in 1985 brought new ideas for the formulation and implementation of enterprise management strategy. As an important part of enterprise management strategy, financial strategy has been combined with the theory of value chain, which formed the financial strategy management theory based on the value chain. With the coming of economic globalization, knowledge economy and Internet era, the theory of value chain has been advanced with the times, and constantly develops and expands gradually from the inside of the enterprise to whole industry chain. With the development of value chain theory, financial strategy management theory has been further deepened and improved. In today's customer- leading Internet economy, financial strategy of value chain is based on the study of management and economics, taking customers as the center to create value for them, to establish enterprise's core competition ability. In order to achieve these objects, the enterprise has to organize, implement financial activities, policies and principles, which have much to do with the whole value chain, including internal and external.The theoretical research part of this thesis will respectively introduce the generation and development of the value chain and the financial strategy theory. And then based on it, the theory and implementation methodology to financial strategy of value chain will be proposed. Under the guidance of the theory and the methodology, the implementation of enterprise financial strategy based on value chain will be analyzed.The case sduty part will take the Chinses famous internet company Letv as the main object. From the perspective of value chain, the company development process, financial strategy and financia indexes will be introduced and analyzed. At the same time, the famous streaming media company of the world Netflix will be chosen as the reference object. The company development process, financial strategy and financia indexes of Netflix will also be introduced and analyzed. By comparing the financial performance of Letv and Netflix, the financial problem of Letv will be highlighted.Base on the analysis and summary of internal and external environment of Letv, through the experience of Netflix, the financial suggestions of optimizing and adjusting for Letv will be proposed.Financial strategy based on value chain is the analysis of the financial management from the angle of system and dynamic. It will help to foster and develop the core competitiveness of enterprises, improve the modern system of the financial strategy theory. It will also provide the basis for the development and implementation of enterprise's financial strategy.
