With the permission for one person to have several accounts, the commission of securities traders has been declining rapidly and the traditional brokerage businesses have been greatly impacted. Besides, with the expanding scale of the population with high net worth, the demand for wealth management is no longer only limited to the single goal of getting financing income, but pursuing a more diversified wealth management. Under this complex context, there is no time to delay for securities companies to transform business and developing wealth management t business.This paper first makes an analysis about both domestic and overseas wealth management markets. By comparison, we can find out the features of the wealth management market in China so as to provide a basis for the design of wealth management model which is adapt to local markets. In addition, this paper investigates excellent wealth management models of both domestic and overseas securities companies. Specifically, this paper explores the status quo and developing features of Zhongtai Securities on the basis of its regional features and business development.The wealth management business development strategy of "four steps" of Zhongtai Securities has come into being according to the development trend of wealth management market and the analysis of the position of this company. The first step is to continue to optimize the currently matured Investment Advisory Service. On the basis of Investment Advisory Service, the second step is to focus on the development of wealth management business model which is based on the combinatorial arrangements of product sales and centered on the services of account management and investment advisory. Meanwhile, the knowledge about related innovative services and customers'individual needs should be well reserved. The third step is about account management service. Related operating system should be developed and improved at this stage, the selection and training of account manager should be completed and account management pilot should be actively applied so as to make a good preparation for the development of account management in the future. The above three steps should be cooperatively performed in order to make full preparation and enough experience accumulation for developing the comprehensive wealth management service in the forth step. In the end, some suggestions are put forwardedare for the wealth management business development of Zhongtai Securities.
