Research On Business Transition Of Zhongtai Securities A Business Department

The securities capital market of our country originated in the 1990s,with the history less than 30 years.In the past 30 years,securities capital market has been growing gradually and becoming more mature.But,if we analyze its development process carefully,problems such as insufficient innovation ability,low industry concentration,serious product homogeneity,and no absolute advantage emerge.With deeper analysis,we found that the securities industry belongs to the licence control industry in China,and under the circumstance of insufficient external competition,the securities companies tend to develop traditional brokerage channel business,and make money very easily only by collecting commissions.With the development of China's securities market and the change of the situation,especially the boom of the bull market in 2015,securities companies began to compete for more market share by expanding the volume and reducing the commission by step from the original standard of 3/1000 to 3/10000,which is ten times lower than before.This has seriously affected the profit of all securities companies.Simultaneously,industry and product innovation,seeking for new profit have also become the priority work of securities companies.In recent years,credit business,Internet finance business and securities derivatives business has taken more and more share of the annual business plans of securities companies.Adjusting the income structure,improving the quality of product and adapting to the market demand have also become guidelines for securities companies.The aim of this study is to explore the shortcomings of traditional business,seek for opportunities for business transformation,and realize the strategy of new business.Based on the business practice of Zhongtai Securities A Business Department,this paper finds out the its future development direction,analyzes the possible situation after transition by reviewing the classical theory and relevant literature,analyzing domestic securities industry environment and comparing traditional channel brokerage business,which enables it to stay in the forefront of similar business departments.
