Research On Animal Health Companies' Facility Location & Logistics Network Design

The word logistics is the inevitable result of the development of the world economy and science & technology.The current trend of logistic is integration,information technology and globalization.Facing such global market environment and logistics environment,it is imperative to keep up with the trend.A logistic network design include requirement management,warehouse & inventory management,physical distribution etc.,a good logistics network design could optimization the network system and resource in order to enhance the customer satisfaction and decrease the related cost.The information technology could be a helpful aid on such optimization.In this thesis,we could see the issues and opportunities through two case studies from one Animal Health company and one famous e-commerce company,then take one Animal Health company B as an example for deep analysis,to generate a rational scheme of facilities layout and distribution plan.Such optimization program is not only applicable to B company,but also has a strong representation for the whole industry.B company existing logistic solutions is a common way of operation of many companies in the industry,and company B's future business model is the moving direction for most of foreign Animal Health companies in the future,the product also has a certain homogeneity,so this program from B company as an example could suitable for most of the enterprises in the industry.
