This paper constructs the performance evaluation system of E hotel.With the development of global economic integration and information technology,and the opening of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo,tourism in China exhibits a good momentum.Hotel industry faces fierce competition both home and abroad.Hotel industry falls within service industry,which is a labor-intensive industry where human resources play a vital role.Its competition is a competition of human resources in essence.The core of hotel management is the exploration and employment human resources,while performance management is the best tool for human resources exploration and employment.How to effectively improve and apply the performance management system and put hotel's strategic objectives into performance management system to promote hotel management and competitiveness,to win in fierce domestic and international market is a problem hotel managers face.Under the long-term research and contribution of domestic and foreign scholars,hotel human resources management has become a complete and independent disciplinary system,which mainly focuses on recruitment,planning and designing,performance management,payment and benefits and the alike.Performance management is the core of all related functions of human resources.A scientific and effective performance management is the booster of enterprise value,which can strengthen the value of human capital,improve human resources management,specify enterprise strategic goal for each department or position and finally become staff performance evaluation index.Therefore,the establishment of a set of effective and scientific performance management system has attracted more and more managers' attention.The author read much literature on the theories and findings of performance management in China and abroad,and chose Hotel Eas an example for comprehensive analysis.Combined the various problems found from the analysis with the qualitative and quantitative research approach,and with the use of balanced score card,the author re-constructed a new system to consolidate the weakness previous systems.It changes the static hotel performance management into a dynamic state,and put the formalism performance management into every specific work,which in turn helps the achievement of hotel strategic objective.The difficult and important point of this paper is the re-construction of performance management for E Central Hotel,and keeps it in long-term operation.This paper places much emphasis on the introduction of the new "BSC+KPI" performance management system,and on the specific steps and methods of designing the hotel's performance index system.Also,this paper proposes measures to ensure the smooth operation of E Central Hotel performance management system.The research topic and methodology not only offers reference for human resources management in local hotel established in China,but also for the implement of balanced score card.
