Industrial cluster theory as a new regional development theory, play a crucial role in guiding the development of regional industry and enhancing regional industrial competitiveness. Learn and absorb the successful experience of foreign auto industry development, cluster development model to take on the whole development of China's automobile industry, has formed a six larger, higher production and sales of industrial clusters, cluster development advantage effectively promote the whole industry improved rapidly in size and quality. Longquanyi auto industry automobile industry cluster development in the midst of a wide range of the Southwest, through the adoption of cluster development mode, which enables its auto companies from the initial development to the simple collection of automotive industry cluster, has a certain competitiveness and influence. Longquanyi entire automotive industry in recent years through cluster development, it has formed a cluster of a certain size and quality. (2) from a higher score of specific factors, the automobile industry Longquan score higher on the basis of two factors and facilities, both more than 7 points in the country with a strong competitive advantage. (3) from the lower scores of factors specific indicators, the analysis summarizes the main indicators of competitive constraints, to extract the main problems:first, the whole cluster is small, industry structure is not optimal. Second, the product structure of a single vehicle, regional brand effect is not strong. Third, the lack of scientific and technical personnel, independent innovation capability is weak. Fourth, enterprise collaboration less interactive, limited role of trade associations. Fifth, the export structure of a single market, a small number of exports.According to specific recommendations conclusions are as follows:first, the "outer lead with the training" approach, bigger industrial scale, adjust the product structure; second, improve the automobile industry chain, optimize the industrial structure, speed up industrial restructuring and upgrading; third improve cluster R & D capabilities, enhance scientific and technological innovation strength; fourth, improve the automotive industry Association union service platform, enhance service functions; fifth, increasing government support, optimization automobile industry cluster development environment.
