Communique of the fifth plenary session of the 18 th CPC central committee stated that China should build a new industrial system,cultivate a number of strategic industries and accelerate the development of modern service industry.With the formation of new economic growth point,service industry is playing a more important role.Our countries proportion of service industry in GDP is far behind of developed economies.Rely on innovation to promote the development of service industry is the trending.Service industry is not often have a dedicated R&D department,but is the employees timely manner and creativity in the process of service innovation.Employees' s innovative behavior has become the foundation and source of service innovation and playing an important role in improving the performance of service enterprise.The employee's behavior is an important external perfomance of employee's personality traits.The combination of personality traits and external environment have an impact on employee's innovative behavior.This study explores the influence of employee's personality traits on they innovative behavior from the employee's individual perspective,taking the service industry emloyees as the research object.Service industry emloyee's personality traits can be divided into four dimensions: conscientiousness,openness,extraversion and agreeableness throughing literature's review.Building the model of the influence of employee's four personality traits on they innovation behavior,and explring the mediating effect of organizational identification and emotional labor.The research results show that service industry emmployee's four dimensions have a significant positive impact on their innovative behavior.But the four dimentions of personality traits have different intensity effects on their innovative behavior.Organizational identification and emotional labor have different mediating effect from conscientiousness,openness,extraversion and agreeableness personality ttraits to service innovation.But some are completely mediating effect and others are part of mediating effect.According to the results of the study,in order to promote theinnovation of service industry,service enterprise should transform the management of human resource according to different personality traits and take measures to improve emloyee's organizational identification and regulate employee's mood.This article mainly has two innovation:The first is that this paper takes modern service industry employees as the main investigation.Exploring the influence path of innovation in the service industry from the individual perspective is the expanding of reaearch that employee is the internal driving force for service innovation.The second is that using the two intermediate variables organizational identity and emotional labor to explore the relationship between employee's personality traits and their innovation behavior.Then provides new management implications to improve employees innovation behavior of service industry.
