Since the beginning of the new century,with the accelerating process of global economy integration and the degree of social informatization in our country,organizations are in a more and more complex and challenging business environment.As an effective strategies to survive in such fierce competition and rapidly changing environment,the importance of the innovation has been widely recognized.According to the opinions of social psychologist,individual behavior is decided by individual inner qualities and social environment,however,the current domestic researches on individual innovative behavior mainly focuses on the effects of organizational factors on individual innovative behavior,and researches to explain how the individual inner factors affect individual innovative behavior are still relatively small,at the same time,the object of these researches mainly concentrated in enterprise employees,related researches on the other groups are relatively small.This research selected the university graduate student team who has the innovative ability as the object of research to study the effect of personality traits on individual innovative behavior;And selecting knowledge sharing as intermediary factors to explore its role in the mechanism of personality traits influence on individual innovative behavior.The research selected the university graduate student team as the research object,take personality traits,knowledge sharing and individual innovative behavior into a concept model,discussing the intrinsic mechanism of the impact of personality traits on the individual innovative behavior and knowledge sharing's role in the mechanism of personality traits influence on individual innovative behavior.The concrete content as follows:At first,this study defined the concept of "university graduate student team","personality traits","individual innovation behavior" and "knowledge sharing",and researches in personality traits,the individual innovative behavior and knowledge sharing were reviewed.In the process of research designing,this research selected "personality traits" as the independent variable,which is using big five personality "neurotic" "responsible" "agreeableness" "openness" and "extroversion" to measure,"individual innovative behavior" as the dependent variable,"sharing knowledge" as the intermediary variable,then to build a conceptual model and propose the corresponding research hypothesis.In the part of empirical research,we distributed paper questionnaire to five local universities and email questionnaire to 12 universities in other places to obtain date.The reliability analysis shows that the data has good reliability and the confirmatory factor analysis shows that the data has good validity.By using path analysis and structural equation model decomposition method,the mechanism of the effect of individual characteristics on individual innovative behavior and the intermediary role of knowledge sharing are explained.Research results show that the university graduate student team members' personality traits have significant effect on individual innovative behavior: the "neurotic" and "agreeableness" has a significant negative effect on individual innovative behavior,"duty" has a significant positive effect on individual innovative behavior,"open" and "extroversion" show no significant positive impact on the individual innovative behavior;University graduate student team members' personality traits have significant influence on knowledge sharing,including "neurotic" have significant negative impact knowledge sharing,"extroversion" "open" "agreeableness" "responsible" have remarkable positive influence on knowledge sharing;It is important to note that knowledge sharing's intermediary role in the influence of personality traits on the individual innovative behavior.In the end,some suggests for research teams of university for reference are put forward as follows: in the process of selecting talents to form a team,university and teachers can consider introduce the big five personality assessment tools to choose the right talent to form a team.AndTeachers should hold regular seminars to strengthen communication between graduate students,broaden the knowledge communication platform between them.
