Food is closely related to our lives, food safety has become the focus of the people concerned about the issue, The significance of food safety risk monitoring is based on the risk monitoring data, so that food-related regulatory authorities to focus on supervision and spot checks. At the same time. It also provides data for the revision of food safety standards.In this paper, we will through in-depth analysis of domestic and international food safety surveillance system. Combined with the actual situation of Shuozhou monitoring system, so that to make a monitoring system suitable for the region, and ensure the system can be effectively implemented. The content of this study include the following three aspects:1.the paper studied the food safety risk monitoring background and analysis the present situation of domestic and international food safety risk monitoring status quo.2. This paper studied the organizational framework of food safety risk monitoring, so as to understand the policies and regulations of food safety risk monitoring, and analysis the development of Shuozhou food safety risk monitoring system in detail.3.Combined with the Shuozhou food safety risk monitoring system in 2014, In this paper, the following four parts are analyzed, including chemical pollutants and harmful factors, food-borne pathogens in food, food-borne diseases, food-borne disease incident report. So as to find out the pollution level and trend of the main pollutants in the city, and grasp the possible sources of harmful factors in order to discover food safety problems timely. Accordingly to put forward rational suggestions for the establishment of food safety risk monitoring system in Shuozhou.In 2014,153 samples of 10 kinds of foods such as vegetables, fruits, grains, milk, meat, aquatic products, eggs, beans and other nuts, beverages and packaging materials were collected and the chemical pollutants and harmful factors were monitored and tested.126 samples and 82.35% of them were qualified. The food-borne pathogens were monitored in 4 categories and 8 kinds of foods. There were 125 surveillance samples,3 hygienic indicators and 8 food-borne pathogens. The sampling scope covered the city and Rural areas, including urban and rural areas, the sampling results did not exceed the national standard; food-borne disease case monitoring has entered the normalization; Shuozhou City has not yet found suspected food-borne abnormalities/abnormal health events.
