Comprehensive Evaluation And Spatial Pattern Of Urbanization In Haixi Economic Zone

Urbanization is a comprehensive concept. Urbanization can reflect the composition and change of the nature of a region's population, and it can also express the level of economic development in the region, the quality of life and the change of space environment in the region. Based on the previous results,It Constructed index system to evaluate the comprehensive level of urbanization in Haixi Economic Zone, then it analysised the spatial lattice and its formation mechanism of the comprehensive level of urbanization in in Haixi Economic Zone. (1) The urbanization of Haixi economic zone is social life and security oriented. 2003-2013, the top five cities are Xiamen, Fuzhou, Shantou, Wenzhou and Quanzhou, and Xiamen is the best one of all. Ganzhou, Jieyang, Shangrao, Ningde, Fuzhou, Nanping, Meizhou and so on are left in the dust. (2) After analyzing the spatial pattern of urbanization level, it got some conclusions.2003-2013, the urbanization structure is consist of circle structure into gradient structure, and high level cities are scattered in coastal area; 2003-2013, the spatial distribution of economic urbanization scores, population urbanization scores, social life and security subsystems scores are similar to comprehensive level's, which means coastal area is higher than inland areas. In addition,the spatial distribution of scores of ecological environment and infrastructure are not the same as comprehensive level's;2003-2013, the Moran's I statistics of Urbanization level in Haixi Economic Zone are all higher than 0.27, and the Urbanization level of cities in Haixi Economic Zone have Strong spatial correlation; The Urbanization level of northwest wing of Haixi Economic Zone are the low-low agglomeration that means Low level cities are distributed together. The Urbanization level of Southeast wing of Haixi Economic Zone are the high-high agglomeration and Low-high dispersion that means high level cities and Low level cities are distributed together. (3) It analysised the formation mechanism of the spatial pattern of urbanization in Haixi Economic Zone based on the basic function of natural conditions and the spatial orientation of traffic conditions and central city effect and regulation and control of policy. (4) In the end, it Put forward suggestions to improve the level of Urbanization and to optimize the spatial pattern in Haixi Economic Zone.
