Urbanization is an important carrier and a necessary condition for the realization of a well-off society, but also a major social and economic development strategy of China. Since1978, the reform and opening of China’s urbanization level rapidly increased, the emergence of the international financial crisis, coupled with stimulating economic growth of the "troika" of investment and exports have fallen sharply, while stimulating the country’s economic development and social progress must be spending only steady progress in speeding up the urbanization level, for effectively stimulating the growth of consumption and domestic demand, in order to ensure a healthy and steady development of the country. Thus, urbanization has become the road we must take for our social and economic development, but also the core of the hot issues of social and economic development, research, and explore related to urbanization profound.Methods to measure and compare the population no longer use a single indicator, such as urbanization or land, but in the composite index of urbanization of population economic, social, environmental and spatial interaction of urbanization. In this paper, the data of286Prefecture-level cities of Chinese in2010was taken into structural equation model of urbanization comprehensive measure, and used ArcGIS10.0spatial pattern of urbanization among the cities to analyze, and found that the distribution of presents stepped inland from the east coast to the west, especially in the eastern coastal Bohai Rim, Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta region and the surrounding urban area radiation, urbanization levels were significantly higher than other cities. Furthermore, according to different combinations of the four major indicators of the level of development of urbanization, the286prefecture-level cities were divided into balanced and unbalanced development developmental type and other two categories, six small class type. And by these two categories, six small class type of urbanization subdivide the cities divided according to class, and proposed recommendations based on different types of relevant development issues and pointed out its development appearing appropriate, in the end, the level of urbanization eventually integrated measure and spatial patterns were analyzed and discussed.
