The Study On The Effects Of Trust Propensity On Individual Ethical Behavior

Ethical behavior of the existing research mainly focused on the individual factors,organizational factors and moral factors,the research on individual factors also focuses on the individual's sex,age,value orientation,work experience and level of moral cognition development,etc.,and the research about individuals' social personality traits influence on ethical behavior is relatively less.Social individual traits mainly refers to the characteristics of individual in the process of interpersonal,have certain regional differences and cultural differences,it will produce certain effect to the behavior of the individual.In addition,in the process of social exchange,because of individual deviation,change blindness and conflicts of interest,such factors would not only influence their own ethical judgment,but also influence their judgement of others.In real life,interpersonal interaction between people are based on the exchange,and reciprocity,but because of the deviation,individual will query and misinterpret others' behavior,Accordingly,to some extent,the behavior made based on their own judgment to others will be affected.Therefore,this research attempts to under Chinese culture background,based on the theory of social exchange theory and reciprocity,through the adjustment of the mediation model design,explore the individual's trust propensity the social individual characteristics of the mechanism of action of ethical behavior,introduce the individual to the judgment of others as a intervening variable,in the process of interpersonal communication,individual reciprocity as well as the trustworthiness of the judgment of others will affect the ethical behavior of the individual.First of all,review and combing previous trust propensity and the judgement of others' trustworthiness and reciprocity,team members exchange(TMX)as well as the related research results on the ethical behavior;Secondly,through the relevant literature,this study puts forward research hypothesis;Again,through the data collected by questionnaire investigation,using SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 17.0 and statistical analysis software to deal with the data analysis,this study validated the theory put forward by model and related assumptions;Finally,combining with the previous researches of the predecessors,the conclusion of this research were analyzed and discussed,and put forward relevant research deficiency and the future research prospects.Through to the proposed hypothesis verification,the following relevant conclusions of this study:(1)the trust propensity has positive influence on individual's ethical behavior.When trust propensity higher,it will make more ethical behavior;(2)the trust propensity has positive effect on the judgement of others' trustworthiness and reciprocity,individuals' judgment to others will be affected by their own relevant social individual qualities;(3)the judgement of others' trustworthiness and reciprocity partly mediated the relationship between the trust propensity and individuals' ethical behavior,namely the effect of trust propensity on the individuals' ethical behavior is partly through the judgement of others' trustworthiness and reciprocity;(4)TMX promote the trust propensity to judge the role of the individuals' judgement of others' trustworthiness,when team members in exchange for the higher quality,the effect of trust propensity on the judgement of others'trustworthiness is stronger.And TMX contributed to the judgement of others' trustworthiness in the mediation role of relationship trust propensity and ethical behavior.
