Employee innovation behavior has an important influence on enterprise innovation and is an important focus of innovation research.Because of the opportunities of social networking,social exchange with others can be a potential innovator for employees.In the current academic research,the research on the influence of social network on individual innovation behavior lacks a systematic perspective,especially the literature based on interpersonal situation inside and outside the organization.Therefore,this research air to explore the relationship between relationship quality factors and employee innovative behavior and its mechanism.From the perspective of social exchange,we expand the category of relationship quality to leader-member exchange(LMX),team-member exchange(TMX)and customer-member exchange(CMX)to further discussion of internal psychological mechanism,as a supplement for the gap of the past literature.We found out that high-quality leader-member exchange(LMX)and customer-member exchange(CMX)promote the innovation behavior of employees.The establishment of good social relations in the workplace is conducive to the construction of the work meaning perceived by employees,while employees with higher recognition of the work meaning are more likely to step out of their comfort zone and make innovative behaviors.The research results are helpful for us to deeply understand the internal process of external social relations promoting employee innovation and provide reference for organizational innovation in terms of innovative leadership and innovative management practice.
