The VMI Quality Information Sharing Model Of Supply Chain Based On System Dynamics

Under the trend of economic globalization,the external environment of enterprises has changed totally,and the traditional management mode of enterprise has been unable to adapt to the development of the times.The partial enterprise reform cannot solve the fundamental problem of philosophy.In the case,the scholars put forward the idea of supply chain management.Supply chain management is an integrated management idea,which manage the planning and control of logistics from Vendors to the end customers in the supply chain.In order to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises,reduce operating costs and improve customer satisfaction,supply chain management optimizes the internal and external operations of the enterprise,coordinates the relationship between enterprises in the supply chain.In supply chain management,the inventory management is one of the most important content.Successful inventory management can improve the operation efficiency of the supply chain,enhance the stability of the supply chain,reduce the supply chain cost and increase the total profit of the supply chain.Vendor Managed Inventory(VMI)is a kind of advanced supply chain inventory management mode,in which mode vendor manages the inventory under the constraints of a protocol so as to obtain the lowest cost for the whole supply chain.VMI develops on the basis of quick response and effective customer response,which can share the inventory and demand information,so as to improve the prediction accuracy,reduce inventory cost and reduce the bullwhip effect.However there are some questions about quality management in the current VMI.Because of the ignore of the quality management information from customers and enterprises,the upstream enterprises in the supply chain cannot timely improve the quality of products and services according to quality information.Under the background of the multi-level supply chain consisting of vendor retailer and customers,this paper uses the method of system dynamics to research the impact of quality information sharing mechanism on the VMI.First,the research reviews the related literature and makes the method and ideas for the paper.Second,using the method of system dynamics makes the dynamics causality diagram to analysis the relationship between the variables of the system.Then,making the flow diagram model and dynamic equation for the system.Finally,through the comparative analysis of the supply chain VMI inventory management model and supply chain VMI quality information sharing model,this paper researches the impact of quality sharing mechanism on the VMI inventory management model.The results show that the VMI quality information sharing mechanism can enhance the two-way quality management,improve the quality of information transfer agility and accuracy,so as to enhance the stability of the supply chain inventory.
