Effect Of Producer Services On Manufacturing Upgrading

Since reform and opening up,relies on the comparative advantage of lower prices of production factors,China's manufacturing industry joins the global value chain.Created the miracle of economic growth.But in the process of growth has also exposed many problems,such as resource excessive consumption,ecological destruction,excess production capacity,low efficiency and so on.In the next 10 years or even longer,where is the future of “made in China”? There is no doubt that improve the overall quality and added value,promote manufacturing upgrading is the only way to break through the bottleneck,as the industry transformation is put forward,the productive service industry is regarded as the new engine,its role is more important.Based on the industrial structure theory,global value chain theory and industrialization theory,this paper focus on producer services and manufacturing upgrading.In the first part we introduce the current situation of the development of producer services and manufacturing.Then we have theoretical analysis on the reason why the producer services can promote the development of manufacturing.Then based on the data of China's 31 provinces in 2003-2013,we have empirical analysis.Finally we put forward policy suggestions.The conclusions of this paper are as follows: Producer services can promote the upgrading of manufacturing industry,But in different stages,The results showed non-significant?significantly positive change trend.Enhance the level of market liberalization?regional economic development and human resource accumulation can promote the producer services play a role of spillover on manufacturing upgrading.
