With the development of the society and the deepening of the research, the theories and methods about fuzzy multi-attribute decision making has become a hot research topic in the field of decision making. In 1989, Atanassov propsed the concept and theory of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. And then, the research about fuzzy muti-attribute decision making went into a higher level. The interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision making method is applied in all aspects of social life, such as economy, administration, military and so on. In this paper, the research about the theory and method of the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision making mainly includes the following contents.1.The new definition about interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy entropy and two corresponding computation formulas are proposed based on the fact that the entropy should consider the influence of three aspects:the membership degree, the non-membership degree and the hesitancy degree. The two new entropy formulas is used to solve two practical interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision making problems, the illustrative examples demonstrate the feasibility and the effectiveness of the entropy.2.The new ranking method of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers is proposed, which is generalized from the cumulative score function and the cumulative accuracy function of intuitionistic fuzzy number based on the continuous ordered weighted aggregation operator proposed by Yager. The numerical examples verify the rationality of the new ranking method. The ranking method is also applied in interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy decision making problem, the numerical examples indicates that the decision making method is effective.3.Under the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment, a multi-attribute decision making method based on the relative closeness coefficient of intuitionistic fuzzy set with the attribute weights completely unkown is proposed, a computation example demonstrate the feasibility of the new method.In a word, this paper provides some new ideas to solve the multi-attribute decision making problems in interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment.
