Research On Risk Assessment Method Of Submarine Pipeline Based On Index Method

Risk assessment technology of submarine pipeline is an important part of integrity management technology of submarine pipeline. With the development of integrity management technology of submarine pipeline and the improvement of integrity management, pipeline operators for the requirements of the risk assessment technology of submarine pipeline are also increasing. But because of the complicated environment of the submarine pipeline and the diversity of threats, which makes the research and development of the technology is relatively slow. At present, the scholars in domestic and foreign researching on risk assessment technology of land pipeline is more and more, and also have achieved good results which are gradually in application and practice, such as index method. But for risk assessment technology of submarine pipeline has not been effective simple practical method. This thesis studies the land pipeline index method principle of risk evaluation model, which is mature around the industry. It analyses the type of risks and the after-effects of the risk's difference about submarine pipeline and land pipeline. At the same time, this thesis summarizes six types of risk effects about the submarine pipeline, redefines the consequences of the influencing factors, and established the model of index method about the risk assessment technology of submarine pipeline.It also analyzes and summarizes the British North Sea pipeline accident database PARLOC. According to the database's records, the main risk factors and the proportion in the whole pipeline risk about submarine pipeline is analyzed, which is the basis about index method of submarine pipeline risk assessment model.The thesis analyses the land pipeline's calculation principle and scoring rules of the index method of risk assessment model. According to compare with the risk types of land pipeline and submarine pipeline and refer to the model of land pipeline index method, the model of index method of submarine pipeline is designed.For a submarine pipeline which is in certain oilfield in the south of China sea, this thesis analyzes the application case and evaluation results by the index method of risk assessment model, and abtain the detail risk of every section. Analizing the main risk reason and point the direction of integrity management.
