Most oil fields in our country are of relatively high wax content and the wax deposition have a serious impact on the normal production. In this paper, through a lot of literature research, the idea about studying chemical wax agents which still has much room for development research has been determined. And this paper bases on the mechanism of paraffin inhibitor designed a new polymer paraffin inhibitor as the paraffin inhibitor existing adaptive problems in now. The new paraffin inhibitor is introduced with sodium allylsulfonate (SA) which exhibits surface activity and pronounced polar in the conventional polymer paraffin inhibitor styrene(S)-anhydride(M) generated terpolymer SMSA.The purpose is to get a paraffin inhibitor which both have the advantages of wax crystal dispersant and surfactant.The oil samples of Tahe Oilfield has been analyzed in this paper. The relationship between its components and wax precipitation has been studied, and the factors which have affect on the oil sample wax precipitation point have been analyzed.It provides a reference for paraffin inhibitor compositional formulation.The feasibility of copolymerized has been analyzed by estimating the monomer reactivity ratios. And styrene (S), maleic anhydride (M) and sodium allylsulfonate (SA) has been used as monomer, a mixture of acetic acid and 1,4-dioxane as solvent has been used,and benzoyl peroxide has been used as initiator in the polymerization reaction to get SMSA. After esterfying with octadecanol SMSA will become SMSAE.The optimal conditions has been obtained by the combined use of orthogonal test method and a simple comparison using the wax inhibiting rate as reference standards. Defining the SMSA which is of excellent water solublility as SMSA1, and SMSA1 optimal molar ratio has been obtained using the wax inhibiting rate as reference standards.The structure of SMSA and SMSAE have been proved consistent as designed, characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.From the introduction of sodium allylsulfonate, the molecular size, the degree of esterification and the length branched-chain, the contribution and impact of the molecular structure of Polymer Paraffin effect have been studied, and its mechanism has been validated and anayzed. The paraffin inhibitor's euutectic crystallization and dispersant effect have been visually proved by observing the crystallization using before and after it with a microscope.The performance of Paraffin Inhibitor has been evaluated. The paraffin inhibitor has been compounded, and the highest wax inhibiting rate can reach 72.5% after compounded.
