| With rapid economic development and high commercialization of rural areas, the amount of household wastes increase sharply which is causing seriously environmental pollution and how to solve the problem is an urgent issue.However, due to the large changes in natural conditions and social environment, including living dispersed, poor environmental awareness, weak infrastructure, lacking of funds and management, corresponding with many other reasons, it is very difficult to solve the pollution of domestic waste in the rural areas. At the same time, national policy makers are confronted with the difficult problem of controlling pollution causing by household waste in rural areas which is also a great research focus for scientific researchers at home and abroad for many years.As one of the coastal developed cities, the city of Jiangmen is also facing the need to control the pollution causing by domestic waste in the rural areas, which brings a great challenge to the administrators of city. Domestic waste in the rural areas being proper treatment and disposal is not only related to the overall urban environment image, but also related with the public health.However, there have no research about how to control pollution causing by domestic waste in the rural areas of Jiangmen.In the paper, achievements and phased problems of regional solid waste Management had been summarized and analyzed on the base of the status investigation for rural garbage disposal.the main problem were shown as follows:The first problem was the infrastructure problem, such as a large number of land resources being wasted for the reason of adopting a single sanitary landfill technology to treating domestic waste, the landfill being far away from the villages and towns and the average distance being 33 km, the length of service being greatly shorten due to the capacity of landfill being limited. The second problem was collection, transportation and processing of domestic waste which causing by poor environmental awareness of local residents, lacking of funds and management in Jiangmen city.Based on the successful experiences and practices for treating domestic waste at home and abroad, combining with considering the actual situations of the area, a series of countermeasures and suggestions had been proposed to treat and disposal the domestic waste in the rural area of Jiangmen, corresponding with the job requirements of comprehensively transportation and disposal for rural living garbage which was formulate by the government of the nation and Guangdong Province in 2015.The first suggestion was improving rural household waste management planning of Jiangmen city, selecting comprehensive process technologies and building gardens of household waste industry for processing rural household waste based on the principle of "reducing, harmless and recycling" in order to make a way out for rural household waste of Jiangmen city. The second suggestion was improving management system and facilities of collection and transportation for rural household waste in order to solve the problems of large amount, wide range and harder to collect based on the principles and ideas of "Urban-rural integration" and "equalization of public services". The third suggestion was raising funds from diverse channels to guarantee the works of treating rural household waste of Jiangmen city. The fourth suggestion was paying more attention on propaganda and strengthening supervision and management in order to normalize management work of disposing rural household waste of Jiangmen city.It is investigation and analysis the status of rural household waste in Jiangmen city,corresponding with feasible suggestions and measures for treating household waste in the rural areas being proposed in the paper. The research results will help to improve the quality of the environment in Jiangmen City. At the same time, it also can provide theory references for improving disposal works of household waste in the rural areas at home and aboard. |
