Warp knitting machine as one of the mainstream types of textile machinery,which has tremendous demand,quickly changing of product variety.It is difficult to mixed-model assembly in the same line,and the assembly workshop layout directly affects the efficiency.A warp knitting machine assembly workshop layout was selected as research object.In order to improve the adaptability of variety and assembly accuracy,the layout of assembly workshop was obtained by simulating and comprehensive evaluation.The design of assembly workshop layout has been realized which has reference value for similar appliactions.First of all,the state-of-the-art of the assembly process,assembly line and assembly workshop layout were summarized.The warp knitting machine structure and the design idea of the digital workshop were analyzed.Aiming at customized production of multi-varieties and small-batch,the core targets,key technology and general design scheme were definited.Then,the research on the assembly process of warp knitting machine was carried out.The mathematical model with assembly constraint of ASP(Assembly sequence planning)problem was established.A VPS-PSO algorithm was proposed for solving ASP problem and a better result was obtained.Assembly tolerance distribution was optimizated by the tolerance process of deviation analysis to ensure the assembly accuracy of the key mechanism,also adding inspection units of quality to increase the assembly yield.Key transmission mechanism of warp knitting machine as example verified the rationality of assembly process.Moreover,the design of assembly workshop layout based on the warp knitting machine assembly process was carried out.The mathematical model of multi-objective optimization MALB(mixed assembly line balancing)problem was established and a VPS-PSO algorithm was presented to solve it.The assembly line which has four different structural mill types of warp knitting machine was established.The initial designs of the layout were by SLP with the principle of group technology,logistics route cycling and material flow in and out.Finally,the visual program of workshop layout was simulated by Flexsim,and the initial workshop layouts were evaluated by the comprehensive evaluation.The optimal layout of the warp knitting machine assembly workshop was selected,which can satisfy the design requirements and has the advantages of compact layout,smooth flow of material and flexibility of the site.
