LNG-Liquefied Natrual Gas is one of the green and clean energy. Because of its character, LNG is becoming more and more popular in global energy market. Qingdao LNG project is one of China's 11th Five-Year LNG planning key projects and also one of the Sinopec major strategic projects. Qingdao LNG terminal is located in Qingdao Jiaonan DongJiakou. According to market demand the project is divided in two phases, the first phase construction scale is 3 million tons/year (supply capacity of 4 billion 50 million cubic meters /year), and it has been put into operation in November 2014. The second phase project construction scale of 5 million tons/year (supply capacity of 6 billion 750 million cubic meters/year) and the long-term construction scale of 10 million tons/year (supply capacity of 13 billion 500 million cubic meters/year). The LNG terminal project includes 3 sets of 1,600,000m~3 LNG tank torage engineering project (including LNG unloading, gasification, pressurized, conveying and metering system), processing 2 million tons of LNG rich liquid light hydrocarbon recovery system, the use of LNG cold energy (Nissan 600 tons of liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon),gas separation system.In this paper, Qingdao LNG BOG process is taken as the object of study. By using of the volume balance method to calculate the amout of BOG, and make the optimization scheme according to the Qingdao LNG terminal actual condition.First of all, this paper takes Qingdao LNG terminal BOG process as the research object and has done an investigation on the domestic and foreign LNG terminal BOG process. The BOG direct compression process and BOG re-condesation processfrom are compared and analyzed in two aspects of energy consumption and process.Secondly, in this paper by using the volume balance method and simulated the process parameters of two different conditions, unloading and non unloading condition calculated the BOG production amount of Qingdao LNG terminal. Furthermore, this paper used the production data analyzed the BOG process adaptability of Qingdao LNG terminal, and sums up existing stage BOG recondensation process handling problems and put forward the optimal BOG methods from two aspects.Finally, according to the Qingdao LNG terminal production and operation condition and considered the comprehensive factors of ship approval and the downstream market factors, this paper discussed the BOG optimization scheme from the aspects of process, structure design and electrical telecom reform, making all the devices and equipment in the terminal run economicly and smoothly.
