Tin is one kind of non-ferrous metal with many excellent properties,which widely applied in human life.With the development of science and technology and the acceleration of modernization,the high grade tin resources gradually dried up,recoverable tin resources became leaner,finer and more complex,therefore,it will be vital theoretical significance and practical application value to reinforcing and high efficiently utilizing these tin resources.In this paper,fine cassiterite of Yunnan Dulong was taken as the research object.Process mineralogy detection methods such as X-ray fluorescence spectrum analysis,chemical element analysis,phase analysis,partical size analysis,X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis,and backscattered electron imaging analysis was made to investigate the properties of the sample,mineral composition and the main mineral' mineralogical characteristics of the sample was found.The results show that,the tin in the sample has value of resource reclamation,and the tin grade of the sample is 0.59%.The main tin mineral of the sample is cassiterite.However,due to the fine disseminated extent of cassiterite,and 69.53%of the sample size bellows 0.037 mm.The main gangue minerals in the sample are quartz,muscovite,clinochlore,calcite etc.The process of flotation tests show that,to improve the recovery of tin,mineral processing tests of fine cassiterite were carried out.The flotation experimental data show that,JSY-19 has a good collecting property for cassiterite,and styrene phosphonic acid has a good selectivity for cassiterite.With JSY-19 and styryl phosphonic acid mixed with ratio of 2:1 as collector,P86 as auxiliary collector,pine oil as frother,by the closed circuit test process "one roughing,three scavenging and two cleaning",flotation tin concentrate with tin grade of 15.00%,recovery of 91.11%was acquired.Then by the tabling of flotation concentrate,final concentrate with tin grade of 46.13%and tin recovery of 84.40%was obtained.With the combination of reagents,the dosage of reagents was saved,a good recovery index of cassiterite was obtained.To research the mechanism between the collectors and cassiterite,a lot of studies have been done.The flotation of cassiterite pure mineral showed that,the best flotation acidity-alkalineacidity to collect cassiterite is pH=5 for JSY-19,styrene phosphonic acid,and the mixed collector with the mass ratio of 2:1.When the dosage of collectors below 65 mg/L,the collecting ability for cassiterite is that JSY-19>mixed collector>styrene phosphonic acid;When the dosage of collectors beyond 65 mg/L,the collecting ability for cassiterite is that mixed collector>JSY-19>styrene phosphonic acid;In this case,the synergistic effect of JSY-19 and styrene phosphonic acid in the mixed collector impelled a better collecting power to the cassiterite.The result of cassiterite solution chemistry calculation,Zeta potential analysis,and the infrared spectrum analysis illustrated that,under the conventional pH condition,the surface of the cassiterite charged negatively,meanwhile,these three kind of collectors act on the partical of cassiterite surface and produce the Zeta point negative transfer,which shows that all these three king of collectors absorb chemically on cassiterite,resulting in the float of cassiterite.
