Hami Yan Xin Tuwu copper mine is a large-scale porphyry copper mine found in recent years,based on chalcopyrite,reserves up to 670,000 tons,flotation process is used for high-grade copper ores.A Flotation Plant project has been put into operation,which can deal with 5,000 tons of copper ores per day.In addition to high-grade copper ores,there is nearly 10 million tons of low-grade copper oxide ores available on the ground surface and has not yet been developed to use.For example,II ore body,which under developing currently,low-grade copper oxide ores are treated as waste,resulting in a great waste of resources and poor economic efficiency of the mine.The purpose of financial evaluation research is to provide the basis and reference for the investment decision of the comprehensive utilization project for low grade copper oxide ores in Tuwu Copper Mine.In this thesis,heap leaching project of Yanxin low grade copper oxide ores is regarded as the research object,in accordance with the regulations and requirements of "construction project economic evaluation methods and parameters"(third edition)to carry out economic evaluation research.Firstly,according to the resources,reserves,grade and characteristics of low grade copper oxidizing ores in Tuwu Copper Mine to decide project construction plan;Secondly,according to the requirements of investment estimation,for low-grade copper oxide minerals heap leaching projects,proceeding with construction investment,construction period loan interest and liquidity estimates,putting forward a comprehensive analysis and research for the financing plan,the project cost and income,taxes and profits;Then,according to the rules and requirements of financial analysis,the financial evaluation of project financial profitability,loan repayment ability,financial viability,break-even balance and sensitivity analysis are carried out.Finally,according to the possible hidden danger of safety and environmental protection of the project,to come up with policies and measures to ensure safety and environmental protection.The results of the financial evaluation of the project show that the financial evaluation index system and evaluation method used on comprehensive utilization project of the low grade copper oxide of Hami Tuwu Copper Mine can obtain satisfactory results.The project is economically feasible and can achieve better economic and social benefits.
