In order to solve the ecological environment pollution problem which were caused by spilled oil and oily organic compound,and reduce the application of artificial synthetic oil absorbing material,developing the biodegradable cellulose-based oil absorption material is the research focus of oil absorption material.Cotton fiber is slender,soft,natural curl and has a middle cavity,using its special fibrous structure and capillary action to absorb oil products.But cotton fiber is cellulose fiber,has good hydrophilicity,can adsorb oil and water at the same time.Therefore,improving the hydrophobic properties of natural cotton fibers is the key to its application in oil absorbing materials.In this paper,adopting comber noil fiber as substrate,utilizing cationic polyelectrolyte polyethyleneimine for noil fiber processing,using self-assembly method to attach the graphene oxide to the fiber surface which depends on the electrostatic force between polyethyleneimine and graphene oxide.And finally,the graphene modified noil fiber oil absorption materials were prepared by thermal reduction,ultraviolet radiation reduction and ascorbic acid reduction method.The microstructure and structure of the fiber were characterized by seanning electron microscope,infrared spectrometer,X-ray diffraction and Raman spectrometer.The influence of the modified process parameters on the adsorption properties of the graphene modified noil fibers were discussed.And the absorption performance of the imodified noil fiber was studied.The results showed that:graphene oxide has been successfully attached to the fiber surface and the graphene modified noil fiber oil absorption material were prepared by reduction method.The optimum technological conditions for the graphene oxide self-assembled noil fiber are:the concentration of polyethylenceimine is 2mg/mL.and the processing time is 3h;the concentration of graphene oxide is 0.5mg/mL and the self-assembling time was 30min.The optimum reduction conditions for preparing the graphene modified noil fiber are:when thermal reduction temperature is 150 ?,the reduction time is 2 h,the saturated oil absorption rate of T-RGO-Noil is 42.67g/g,the water contact angle is 130.5°;When the ultraviolet radiation reduction time is 90 min,the saturated oil absorption ratio of UR-RGO-Noil is 42.55g/g,the water contact angle is 129.2°;When the concentration of ascorbic acid is 30mg/mL,the ascorbic acid reduction ti,me is 72 h,the saturated oil absorption ratio of LAA-RGO-Noil is 43.41g/g,the water contact angle is 124.5 °.The results of oil slick recovery performance test show that the graphene modified noil fibers all have high oil absorption rate,low water absorption rate and good suspension which were prepared by different reduction methods.The results of repeated performance test show that the graphene modified noil fibers all have good repeatability which were prepared by different reduction methods.Accordingly,addition of graphene improves theadsorption properties and lipophilic-hydrophobic property of the noil fiber.
