As concerning the high toxicity of biocides which used in paints,the need to develop new environment-friendly antifouling agents has been highlighted.The synthesis of the dithiodipropionamide and isothiazolones is carried out in this thesis.A series of novel dithiodipropionamide derivatives has been successful synthesized through amidations reaction,and they are as follows N,N'-di-methoxypropyl-dithiodipropionamide(MPD); N,N'-di-ethoxypropyl-dithiodipropionamide(EPD); N,N'-di-isopropoxypropyl-dithiodipropionamide(IPD); N,N'-di-butoxypropyl-dithiodipropionamide(BPD); N,N'-di-methoxyethoxypropyl-dithiodipropionamide(MEPD); N,N'-di-butoxy-methyl-dithiodipropionamide(BMPD); N,N'-di-phenoxyethoxypropyl-dithiodipropionamide(PEPD); N,N'-di-allyl-dithiodipropionamide(ALPD); dithiodipropionamide(PD)All of them were testified by FTIR and several products were tested by ~1H-NMR.. The suitable synthesis conditions of several products have been studied respectively. The antibacterial properties and inhibition on algae of several dithiodipropionamide were tested,It was found that all these dithiodipropionamide show certain antibacterial activity and inhibition property.These products were added into marine antifouling paints as a antifouling agent,the results showed good antifouling property.A series of isothiazolone derivatives has been successful synthesized through cyclization reaction.In in these products 4,5-dichloro-2-((2,4,5 - three chlorinated phenoxyacetic)ethoxy-propyl)-4-isotiazol-3-one is a new compound. It was testified by FTIR and ~1H-NMR.Other isothiazolone has been successful synthesized,4,5-dichloro-2-(3-methoxypropyl)-isothiazol-3-one;4,5-dichloro-2-(3-ethoxypropyl) -isothiazol-3-one;4,5-dichloro-2-(3-isopropoxypropyl)-isothiazol-3-one; 4,5-dichloro-2-(3-butoxypropyl)-isothiazol-3-one;4,5-dichloro-2-(3-methoxyeth oxypropyl)-isothiazol-3-one;Three isothiazolones were selected and its antibacterial properties were tested,the properties of inhibition on algae and antifouling also been studied.The result of antibacterial test shown an order as BO P-DCI?POEOP-DCI?EOP-DCI.The toxicity on Phaeodactylum tricornutu has an order as TBTO?BOP-DCI?POEOP-DCI?EOP-DCI?OIT?kathon.These products were added into marine antifouling paints as a antifouling agent, after 142 days,the properties of the paints was shown after an exposure to marine environment and good antifouling effect was observed.The order a bout them was Seanine-211,POEOP-DCI?MOP-DCI,MOEOP-DCI?BOP-DCI,i-P OP-DCI,EOP-DCI.
