Because bicycle is an environment friendly, healthy and low-carbon transportation, it always play an important role in the end of the city residents travel, the transportation of first trip, short distances travel and transfer, it is indispensable in ease city traffic, congestion. But in fact, bicycle not only didn't play its advantages, but also be a burden of city traffic, such as bicycle travel always together with cars, bicycle didn't have parking places, traffic accident frequency phenomenon can be seen everywhere, investigate its reason, planning and management is not reasonable is on the one hand. So the bicycle traffic reasonable planning concept and design methods, give full play to the advantage of motor vehicle traffic in the residents' travel is necessary. At the same time, based on a variety of ways to coordinate development, effectively has positive significance to promote the urban traffic health, can realize the harmony of the whole traffic system and the coordination.This article is based on the partition to Cheng Gong Universities Town Campus as the study area, the residents travel characteristics of investigation, this paper study the residents travel mode choice, and connecting with the Logit model, analysis the main factors influencing the residents choose bicycle transportation:bicycle in the area of the traffic system is complete, continuous, rapid, large area of non-motor vehicles and interval traffic bridging between motorized transportation is good, whether the construction of parking facilities in place; On this basis, the article in Universities Town Campus, for example, respectively from the network, transfer and parking planning in the face of a bicycle traffic planning theory and method were studied.
