Now, with the rapid development and constantly updating of new armor steel andcomposite reactive armor, for anti-tank ammunition, there are the requirements of response ofthe rapid design. To meet the needs of military development of anti-tank ammunition, thispaper uses numerical simulation to put forward fast and efficient tandem warhead designmethod of "break-break" type.On the basis of full analysis of the target characteristics, and of demonstrating the keyparameters of the main warhead and pre-stage warhead caliber, this paper makes the overallscheme design of tandem warhead. And describes the tandem warhead role and shaped chargejet damage mechanism, and preliminary designs the hollow hemispherical eflameproofdevice, put forward the calculation method. of the delay time of the main warhead detonated.On the basis of the overall program, this paper, is use of numerical simulation methodto expand the main warhead design. First, shaped charge liner thickness, charge height of theshaped charge liner, shaped charge liner cone angle and burst height of the single conestructure simulation and optimization, and then for double cone charging structure,optimizing the second order cone angle, and finally getting the main structural parameters ofthe main warhead. Simulation results show that can penetrate the960mm steel target, andeffectively damage the main armor of tanks.Also according to pre-stage warhead of detonating reactive armor, this paper is inselection of hemispherical shape charging structure to study simulation and optimization ofthe height of the grain, the liner thickness and burst height,and obtain the structuralparameters of pre-stage warhead。Results show that it able to penetrate the steel target of43mm, can reliably detonate the reactive armor of28mm equivalent thickness.In this paper, numerical simulation and optimization method, compared to traditionalengineering algorithm, can more accurately design major structural parameters of the main warhead and pre-stage warhead, can more effectively improve the success rate of design,shorten the development cycle, and more effectively provide a design method of anti-tankwarhead.
