With the increasingly tense energy and gradual improvement of the regulations on limiting the weight of transportation industry,fuel-efficient and heavy loading trucks are more and more sought after by the user.Fuel economy directly affects the user's operating costs and revenues,gradually become the main competitiveness of truck.Every large automobile enterprise at home and abroad is actively developing each work on fuel-efficient,striving for core strengths.Optimization design of vehicle fuel economy is a systematic work,involving multiple vehicle assembly and parts,in addition to the performance improvement and match of traditional engine,gearbox powertrain,now more field for researching also includes lightweight design and aerodynamic analysis to better improve the vehicle's payload and reduce the aerodynamic drag,so as to realize the vehicle fuel-efficient,that namely economic optimization.Through the analysis of the factors affecting the fuel economy of the vehicle,the lightweight design of frame and the optimization analysis of the aerodynamic drag between the deflector and cargo compartment are carried out in this article,based on the optimization and upgrading of the basic vehicle powertrain.The lightweight design of frame simplifies the structure of the basic model from double plate to monolayer through the finite element analysis.At the same time,reinforcement is done for local frame to ensure the structure reliability.Aerodynamic drag optimization is based on the hydrodynamic analysis,compared the influence on the wind resistance of vehicle between different height of deflector and different cargo compartment.The drag coefficient of the deflector with different height cargo compartment is simulated to match the best.And it is validated by real vehicle road test that the lightweight frame design and the reasonable height difference of deflector matching can make the vehicle drop oil by 4%.In this paper,with a new method of fuel-efficient adopted,the effect of lightweight frame design and air resistance optimization is remarkable,and it is easy to implement for structural design.In addition,design method of Single-layer frame with local reinforcement,difference in height between the deflector and cargo compartment,and deflector with different forms of cargo compartment matching principle can be regard as design experience,using for reference in the development of other cars,which has higher guidance meaning and practical value.
