| ObjectiveTo dicuss the relativity between colonic adenomatous polyps and physique of Sixiang,as well as the relativity between colonic adenomatous polyps and constitution of TCM.We hope there would be some kinds of tendency founded on physique of Sixiang among the group of patients with adenomatous polyps.Also,it is required to explore the relativity between constitution of TCM and physique of sixiang.Above all,it is expected to provide certain valuable reference on the prevention and treatment of adenomatous polyps.Methods193patients with colorectal adenomas admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from April 2015 to March 2017 were enrolled.The patients were asked to fill out QSCCII and constitution of TCM identification calculation table.In the meantime,a series of statistics including body posture,psychological states and dietary habit was collected.Then they were divided into corresponding category based on the results.All data in patient files were collected and analyzed by SPSS 21.0 software.A two-tailed test was used and a P-value of<0.05 was considered significant.Results1.Of all the 193 colonic adenomatous polyps patients,there were 109 male patients and 84 female patients,with the ratio of 1.3:1.Males were more likely to develop adenomatous polyps than females.The analysis showed that their age ranged from 28 years old to 83 years old,with the average age of 59.81±1.47.The peak age was more than 40 years old,with 51 to 60 age group is the highest.It showed that there was low correlation between gender and adenomatous polyps.2.There was no obvious correlation between age and gender.3.There was obvious statistics showing that the high correlation between gender and Polyp diameter size.Polyps with a diameter of 0.5-0.9cm were more likely to occur in male patients,and polyps with a diameter of more than 1.0cm were more common in female patients.4.The extent of colonic adenomatous polyp could range from left hemicolon,right hemicolon,to the entire colon,with left hemicolon as the main symptom.5.The extent of physique of Sixiang ranged from taiyin people,shaoyin people,shaoyang people,to taiyang people,with taiyin people as the main kind.6.It turned out that pathology of the adenomatous polyp type was correlated with physi-que of Sixiang.We also found that mixed hyperplastic adenomatous polyps were more com-mon in taiyin people.Besides,tubular adenoma was a high incidence of cases among all the four constitution types.7.The distribution of constitution of TCM could range from Yang-insufficiency constitution,Phlegm-dampness constitution,Qi-insufficiency constitution,blood-stasis consti-tution,Dampness-heat constitution,Qi-stagnation constitution,Yin-insufficiency constitution,mild physical constitution to specific endowment constitution,with Yang-insufficiency consti-tution took majority parts in case group,Phlegm-dampness constitution and Dampness-heat constitution followed up.8.There was obvious statistics showing that the correlation between taiyin people and Phlegm-dampness constitution,as well as Yang-insufficiency constitution.Shaoyin people had something to do with Yang-insufficiency constitution and Qi-insufficiency constitution..ConclusionsMale were more likely to be vulnerable to adenomatous polyps disease,especially with the age of more than 50 years old.Also,it was more common on left hemicolon.Taiyin people played an important role on physique of sixiang with adenomatous polyps.lt turned to be that adenomatous polyps were more common in Yang-insufficiency constitution,Phlegm-dampness constitution.It was considered that diet and lifestyle may lead to such condition.There was obvious statistics showing that the correlation between taiyin people and Phlegm-dampness constitution,as well as Yang-insufficiency constitution.Shaoyin people had something to do with Yang-insufficiency constitution and Qi-insufficiency constitution. |
