Research On The Syndrome Of Huanglian Ejiao Decoction Based On Data Mining Technology

Huanglianejiao decoction is one of the classical prescriptions of Zhang Zhongjing,who has lived in Eastern Han Dynasty.And it is first recorded in Treatise on Febrile Diseases Huanglianejiao decoction,as a specialized recipe for the treatment of insomnia that caused by deficiency of the heart and kidney.The drugs were chose carefully with a unique style and major drug was supplied with large dosage,so it has been widely used in clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine.The author of this paper summarized the use of this prescription by ancient doctors and modern clinicians through Literature Research Method and data mining techniques to provide guidance for TCM clinical practice.The paper includes four parts:In the literature review,the author collected the clinical reports and the results of latest experimental studies about Huanglianejiao decoction during the recent decades.And summarized to have a whole review about its indications and application range in the modern clinical practice.With the hope that this study would help to grasp the char-acteristic of drugs in insomnia treatment under Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory,an-d provide some assist and experience in clinical therapy.The studies on the Theory of Prescriptions of Huanglianejiao decoction are carried out in four sections.1.Determine the source of Huanglianejiao decoction and analysis of clauses in chapter of shaoyin diseases.And gave a clear explanation of Fan and Wo.2.About the studies on Theory of Prescriptions of Huanglianejiao decoction.The author,through the analysis on the clause,concludes that,the indications of the recipe lie in hear and kidneys,the pathogenesis is In coordination between the Heart and the Kidney.Pathogenesis of Huanglianejiao decoction is that The syndrome of deficiency of yin in the kidney and the syndrome of hyperactivity of heart fire.Its clinical symptoms include "insomnia" and"vexation" 3.To Summarize the "insomnia" and "vexation" of different patterns of syndromes in Treatise on Febrile Diseases to carry out the precise differentiation of symptoms and give the correct treatment in clinical practice.4.Have a discuss on the derivation and development of doctor of past dynasties.The author of this chapter used the software of "Zhonghua Yidian" standalone version V5.0 and TCM ancient book databases in www.tcm 100.com and found 44 derived prescriptions of Huanglianejiao decoction.To make a longitudinal analysis of the regularities of the application of Huanglianejiao decoction in successive dynasties.To explore the characteristic and application rules of Huanglianejiao Decoction in modern clinical practice,in order to provide a new idea and method for ancient Chinese herbal medicine compound to serve the present days.Methods:A search was conducted in Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP,and CBM from the inception date to 07,2017.Huanglian ejiao Decoctions was retrieved in databases as keyword.Altogether 131cases from the articles were input Excel table.The SPSS22.0 software was employed for data analysis.Results:104 papers met the inclusion criteria.Clinically,this formula is commonly applied in diseases of insomnia,oral ulcer and metrorrhagia and metrostaxis in Chinese medicine;diseases of insomnia,canker sore and functional uterine bleeding in Western medicine;disease mechanism of kidney yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire.The ingredients of original formula ofen adds Shengdihuang,Suanzaoren and Muli.Conclusion The indications of Huanglianejiao Decoction were listed as insomnia,dysphoria,thirsty,red tongue and scanty coating.In terms of the Meta analysis of the clinical random control experiment on the use of Huanglianejiao decoction to treat patients with insomnia.Extracted 482 journal publications(1949-2017),from 3 databases:CNKI,VIP and CBM on application of Jiajian Huanglian ejiao decoction for treatment of insomnia.The choice of literature is based on randomized controlled trials(RCT)and controlled clinical trial(CCT).A Meta-analysis was performed by Rev Man 5.3 software obtained from the Cochrane Collaboration.Results:14 RCTs met the inclusion criteria.Compared with the control group,the combined outcome of Jiajian Huanglianejiao decoction was effective to insomnia[OR(total)4.92,95%CI(3.50,6.93 y),P<0.00001;RR(total)=1.38,95%CI(1.29,1.47),P<0.00001;RD(total)=0.25,95%CI(0.20,0.29)P<0.00001].Conclusion:Jiajian Huanglian ejiao decoction may have good effcacy to patients with insomnia.However,because of lower methodological quality of all the trials,it still need more rigorous randomized controlled trials to the further verification.To sum up,the author gained a deeper understanding on the indications of Huanglianejiao decoction through literature review,theoretical study and evidence-based medicine.On the basis of previous experiences,the author will inherit and develop it in a better way for the purpose of providing references and guidance for the modern clinical application of Huanglianejiao decoction.
