The norms of marriage runs through many aspects, such as engagement, marriage, divorce and remarriage, coupled with the spirit of tang dynasty's open and unruly real state of tang, the dynasty marriage brings out the rigorous and illegal conflict and blend.Tang on specification of marriage first starts from the engagement.In the process, the law requires both to satisfy the essential condition of the marriage, such as the words of a match-maker and the consent of the parents, and either the legal constraints. For remarriage rulers for remarriage are supportive in the early time, but in middle and later periods of the tang dynasty began to enact laws banning women remarry,that lead to remarry phenomenon is decreased dramatically.Tang dynasty era of unique culture has created many marriage that in violation of the law and they appear in various stages of marriage. Before marriage independently choose the marriage, in violation of the restrictions of illegal marriage concluded, jealous wives that hitting the patriarchal society and abandon his wife arbitrarily has been influenced by Hu culture, Confucian decay, weak gate valve.But the illegal marriage is still a minority in the tang dynasty, and in mid and late tang dynasty dwindling as the tang dynasty pay more attention to the Confucian zero ethics.Research from the perspective of laws, helps us understand people rich married life of the tang dynasty.
