| The Tomb mural painting from Tang Dynasty is the treasure in Chinese art history, and also plays a significant role in Chinese art history. In Zhou Dynasty, which was the start of the mural painting, mural painting became flourishing through Qin,Han to Tang Dynasty. Moreover, the mural painting was reaching the peak period in the Tang Dynasty, because of the stable and development of economic and safety society, and also the open mind imagination from the international communications. The development of society leads the improvement of mural painting. Because of the prevailed of an elaborate funeral, the tomb mural painting became an extant ancient form of painting category, which was worthy to learn and do some researches,Most of our earliest large number of tomb mural paintings are been discovered in Shaanxi Province, with the bright colours, elegant and poised from Tang Dynasty. This smooth and bright style of murals paintings are a good example of decoration.Prince Zhang Huai’s tomb murals are one of the important relics for us to learn the social, historical, cultural, artistic, and aesthetic in the early Tang period. There are vivid characters, elegant and luxurious flavour in the murals of Prince Zhang Huai’s tomb, which represents a highly skill of painting. Its vivid lines and meticulous technique is attracted me very much. Therefore, I make a decision to analyse artistic features about the murals paintings from Prince Zhang Huai’s tomb.Combining with previous research and experience from my personally inspected, by counting on the number of the related images, which was about hunting trip, arrange concierge, bird watching and stalks the cicada, polo unearthed Tang Prince Zhang Huai Li Xian tomb at Qian County in Shaanxi Province. According to research, I have summarized the manufacturing process of Tang tomb murals by learning the original copy, then made a full range of depth and detailed collation analysis and in-depth study about the subjects, contents, composition, shape, line, colour and other aspects of Prince Zhang Huai tomb murals, as well as to summarize its artistic features, analysing its artistic characteristics, and generalize the painting features of Tang Dynasty by researching Prince Zhang Huai tomb murals. Finally, this article mainly discuss about the inherit and carry of the Prince Zhang Huai tomb murals from the idea of composition, shape characteristics, line drawing, the use of colourful aspects, and implications to the future creation of figure paintings. |
