Image Analysis Of Female Figures In Tang Dynasty Tomb Murals

The Tang Dynasty is an all-time period in portrayal development in the history of Chinese Painting.But in the past,there were not many portrayals in the dynasty available for researching,with difficulties in distinguishing genuineness of portrayals and chronicles in rock cave mural,many debates about chronicles have come out.In the recent archaeological finds,which shaped a new series of research materials,have corrected the chronicles of portrayal murals in Tang Dynasty.Basing on that,this thesis will analyze portrayals of women on tomb murals in Tang Dynasty,in the area of Guanzhong,known as Jingji at that time.Eighty percent of the tombs in the Tang Dynasty were concentrated in the capital area.Because the owners of the tombs were mostly upper-class aristocrats and within the cultural radiation of the capital,a relatively strict and standardized tomb etiquette system was formed.This paper will analyze and discuss the female images in Tang Dynasty tombs from three aspects: the explicit connotation of the overall thought,the stylistic characteristics of female images in tombs and the spatial nature of female images.The tomb owners in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province in the Tang Dynasty were basically upper-class aristocracy.The configuration of the tomb structure was a simulation of the royal courtyard,and its main function was to provide for the tomb owners.Therefore,the Tang Dynasty tombs inherited the burial concept of "the death is like the life" of the Han Dynasty.This thesis mainly discuss the women is the subject of the tomb murals,first of all,through to find the function of the murals murals of configuration,in the thoughts implication,the author based on the combination of the female characters image related topics to find meaning in the grave,check,make a symbolic interpretation,female female images in the tomb murals of han and tang dynasties,explore two dynasties such as line,color on the inherent requirement of women's lives.Secondly,the style system of female images related to time is constructed with the image method as the main method and the style method as the auxiliary method.Thirdly,taking the tomb murals in the capital region of Tang Dynasty as an example,through the concept of "female space",this paper discusses the female images in Tang Dynasty tombs.Finally,through the Tang Dynasty tomb frescoes in the analysis of female images on the author's creation of the influence.According to the analysis this paper,the tang dynasty tombs of female image not only has unique aesthetic features,also reflect the concept of space-time in traditional Chinese painting,the style evolution of the female image is behind a historical clue,the author of "figure" the combination of "history" narration,refined aesthetic value of female characters in the tomb murals,for cultural relics of the textual research on female image in tang dynasty help,at the same time,also a new inspiration on his own painting creation.
