Ministry of Education issued the 2015 national foreign students data.It showed that 397635 foreign students from 202 countries and regions were studied in 811 colleges and universities,scientific research institutions and other educational institutions,which spread all over 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government.In 2015,foreign students have a steady increase amount and optimized structure.With the constant increase of foreign students,the quality to domestic universities,scientific research institutions and other educational institutions set higher requirements.As a big province in China of foreign students,Liaoning Province in 22784 ranking first in the country attracted more and more foreign students to study with its unique advantage.Foreign students in China mainly through the course of teaching plan study the systematic courses in the classroom.This kind of course so called “the First Class”.However,besides the First Class,the foreign students also need take part in kinds of extracurricular activities to promote their language ability,communication ability and culture adaptation ability.This is so called “the Second Class”.The Second Class is the vital teaching form in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,which can help the foreign students to overcome culture shock and know the target language countries' culture.In learning language,the Second Class can create a comfortable atmosphere silently to learn or reproduce language knowledge.The paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly sets forth the research background and meaning,presents and classifies references.These include the concept of the Second Class of foreign students,the theoretical basis of the Second Class Activity,the classification of the Second Class Activity,the principles and advice of the Second Class Activity,the relationship between the First Class and the Second Class and the teaching advantage of Liaoning Province.Thus,the author determines the content and research methods.The second part is Chapter One,which investigates the situation of the Second Class in accordance with foreign students from four universities in Liaoning Province like Shenyang Normal University,Northeastern University,Shenyang Aerospace University and Liaoning University.The investigation part is mainly including design and implementation of questionnaire and interview,and questionnaire analysis.The third part is Chapter Two,which analyzes the research results and gains the advantages and disadvantages of the Second Class Activity for the university foreign students.The fourth part is Chapter Three,which wants to give some advice to the Second Class Activity of the university foreign students on a micro level.The author gives two kinds of the Second Class Activity designs in accordance with the nature and current problems of different kinds of the Second Class Activity to make some references to universities.
