Tangut Buddha Said Buddha Mother Born San Fa Zang Prajna Paramita Sutra (Hereinafter referred to as San Fa Zang) is a part of large number of literature and culture relics, found in Blackwater city ruins. The buddhist scriptures, both at home and abroad have a collection, with the Russian academy of sciences institute of orientalism st. Petersburg branch store the most complete and abundant.I will take Tagnut San Fa Zang (Vol 16)on as the object of the research for the first time, by Shanghai ancient books publishing house of Jiang Weisong and Yan Keqin at the end of the twentieth Century in St Petersburg picture copy.The original has not yet published. It is of certain significance to the studies of Xixia literature and language.This article consists of three parts:At first, to introduces the basic situation of the San Fa Zang.Respectively on the Chinese text of the author, main contents and the Tangut text of the unearthed, collection and fragments of broken leaves, and try to explore the translation, collation and its version of the Tangut San Fa Zang(Vol.16) Secondly,this chapter is the main body of the article.I will be input the original in computer accordding with format specification of the Tangut Buddhist.The Chinese and Tangut (word-for-word) translation, rely on published Tangut dictionary and interpreted literature to sort out, and with the help of the Chinese copy to confirm and supplement the part of the vague and incomplete; The annotation section is toexplain some words appearing in literature, Buddhist terminology, grammatical phenomena and textual collation description ,etc.Lastly,to summary and explore the problems, discovered in the process of translation and annotation.Comparison of Tangut text and Chinese text,we can recongnise that the Tangut translator widely adopted literal translation in the Chinese translation of Buddhist scriptures, but in the details will be careful consideration and consider. So there many new words, grammar and usage in the scriptures. These characteristics are the reflection of the Buddhist scriptures in this period of rapid development.
