Cao Xuezhen's Research On Shi Cang Tang Poetry Selection

Cao Xuequan,also known as Shi Cang,was a renowned poet,scholar and bibliophile in the late Ming Dynasty(1574-1646).Tang Poetry Edited by Shi Cang is one of his Twelve Dynasties Poetries Edited by Shi Cang and it wasn't studied.But it has high value to study.So,the paper focuses on the texts.It combined with other people's edited poetry who is Cao Xuequan's contemporaries.By comparing different texts,we can dig out the value of Tang Poetry Edited by Shi Cang and discuss Cao Xuequan's criteria for selecting poem.I hope this paper can be the entrance to study Twelve Dynasties Poetries Edited by Shi Cang and has a certain reference for other dating poetry research.In this thesis,the introduction illustrates the development and the general characteristics of Tang Poetry in the Ming dynasty,the review of Tang Poetry Edited by Shi Cang,as well as the relationship between the life and the change of mind of Cao Xuequan and Tang Poetry Edited by Shi Cang.The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly talks about the completion and the version of Tang Poetry Edited by Shi Cang.It comes from three aspects: the background,the completion process and the collection.The second chapter mainly talks about the content and style of Tang Poetry Edited by Shi Cang and poetic studies of Cao Xuequan.Its three sections analyse the content and style of Tang Poetry Edited by Shi cang.The first section summarizes Tang poetry from the ancient poetry anthology and discusses the effect to Cao Xuequan.Tang Poetry Edited by Shi cang is one part of Twelve Dynasties Poetries Edited by Shi Cang.The second section is the content of Tang Poetry Edited by Shicang.The third section expound its style and characteristics,the innovation and succession.The chapter is its poetic characteristics,which is Cao Xuequan's view for selecting poem.The last chapter introduces the value and Influence of Tang Poetry Edited by Shi Cang.It mainly comes from three aspects: academic value,historical value and the later evaluation and influence.
