The Study Of Secret Education And The Study Of Pre-Song Novels

Since the Eastern Han Dynasty,Esoteric Buddhism belief and novels were introduced to our country,and became mature in flourishing period of Tang Dynasty.Therefore,this paper aims at detailed discussing the relationship between pre-Song Dynasty Esoteric Buddhism preach and novel writing in our country.As the Chinese first general collection of classical novels,Tai PingGuangJi(????)collects documentary fictions from Han dynasty to early Northern Song dynasty,which have a big amount,vast contents and complete categories,and can fully reflect the general outlook and development condition of novels in early Song dynasty and pre-Song dynasty.Therefore,This paper starts from the record clauses of Tai Ping Guang Ji(????),explores the Esoteric Buddhism's multifaceted drawings of Pre-Song dynasty novels according to the classic works of Esoteric Buddhism,end with the discussion of relationship between novel and Esoteric Buddhism before Song.This paper paper mainly divides into four parts,takes the six factors of a novel as main line,separately illustrates the figures,the sites and relevant activities and culture of Esoteric Buddhism.The introduction chapter of the paper,makes a general summary of the research origin and expected target of this thesis,and clears up the concept of Esoteric Buddhism and its principal characteristics.The contents are split into three quarters.The first quarter mainly discusses the concept and principal characteristics of Esoteric Buddhism,the second quarter makes a relatively detailed review of previous researches separately from the angle of Esoteric Buddhism and fiction,the third quarter declares the research value and research approach of this paper.The first chapter,makes a main carding and research of figures and sites of Esoteric Buddhism involved in TaiPingGuangJi(????)makes an emphasized compare with relevant historical facts and novel records,inspects the figures and sites of Esoteric Buddhism with the bond of the two-sided connection point.The first quarter takes laity believers.Buddhist and Esoteric Buddhist as a core,makes a contrast and inspection of their characteristics in novel and focuses on a review of eminent monk's contribution of Esoteric Buddhism in historical facts so as to compare with figure images of novel.The second quarter takes the Esoteric Buddhism site as a core,focuses on discussion of relevant temple condition and makes a correspondingresearch and analysis of its characteristics of Esoteric Buddhism.The second chapter takes Esoteric Buddhism spell,and makes a sequenced analysis of relevant clauses involved in TaiPingGuangJi(????).The first quarter makes an inspection of the spell's origin and characteristics,evolution and content of the spell,indicates the characteristics of spell's diversity and richness,divides the listed clauses into four categories,rain prayer and dragon keeper,driven-off evils and disease treatment,blessing and disaster clear,sorcery and magic,traces the original evidence of relevant sorcery,explains its characteristics.The third chapter,focuses on the existing problems of Esoteric Buddhism belief in the novel.Concentrate on god and classic work of Esoteric Buddhis m,make a tease of god and classic work of Esoteric Buddhism involved in T aiPingGuang Ji(????),so as to solve the original problem of relevant god images and sacred book's function in the novel,and inspect the function of no vel plot from the gods and classic works.Among these,the gods include four beliefs,King Kong,Vaisramana,,Avaloktesvara,Hariti,the classic works include“Usnisa VijayaDharani Sutra”and“Surangama Sutra”,whose version and functio n etc are under inspection.The forth chapter,mainly discusses the novel influence of Esoteric Buddhism culture.The first quarter mainly discusses the Chinese traditional swordsmanship's effect of Esoteric Buddhism and coming multifaceted changes of gallant-hero novel,Add new proof materials under the basis of previous research from quite a lot of seniors;the second quarter shows the characteristics of “craze monk” image,and stresses on introducing the thought of “purity by dying”,which causes important effect on the occurrence and rhelogy of “crazy monk” image.Known from this paper,Esoteric Buddhism preach makes a profound effect on pre-Song novel,especially Tang novel in our country.In the novel,various contents,like dazzling magic arts,figures in different shapes,capricious story line etc,have permeation and infection about Esoteric Buddhism culture.
