From The Perspective Of Semiotics, The Paper Analyzes The Art Of Paper-cutting In The Dehong Area Of ??Yunnan

Yunnan boosts Dai nationalitypaper-cut,which is one of the typical associations when it comes to the Dehong Autonomous Prefecture.Dai nationalitypaper-cut techniques origin in the local area and mainly prospered in Mangshi,the capital of the prefecture.As for the specific year when it was invented,there has been so far no evidence to it.Paper streamers,the earliest form of Dai nationality paper-cut,as it was at first used in sacrificial rituals,is a co-existence with the historical and cultural development of Dai nationality.Semiotics and aesthetics being the basis and methodology,this dissertation is going to explain with abundant real cases the research of nationality paper-cut semiotics in a theoretical way.Thesis mainly divided into three parts: semiology theory explanation,Yunnan Dehong Dai paper-cut art,Dai paper-cut art connotation of semiotics.Research methods such as literature review,material analysis,case study have been applied in this thesis.The present situation of paper-cut in Yunnan could be seen as a result of careful review of relevant books about the development of Chinese paper-cut,semiotics,aesthetics and site visits and field research.This paper is also going to analyze and reason the semiotic features and aesthetic implication of paper-cut arts through observational,survey and summary methods etc.From a new angle to look at the Yunnan nationality paper-cut,hopefully,scientific conclusions and constructive suggestions could be found and provided in this dissertation.
