| Visual metaphor is a crucial and common design instrumentality when creating posters. The sketch creativity in the embodiment of metaphor is to great extent capable of enhancing the vivid visual expression and aesthetic interest, which requires the artists and designers to study the correlation between design objectives and the counterpart resource through the cognitive or sensory activities. Additionally, they should obtain the methods of design and also construct reasonable and feasible model of thinking from the proceeding experience in order to interpret and predict the design product. This thesis aims to explore the internal logic between the tenor and vehicle and to induce the inner-presentation and way of thinking by analyzing the characteristics of poster cases which utilized the visual metaphor. Meanwhile,combined with the personal designed posters, this thesis tends to deduce a set of visual design process about the embodiment of metaphor. |
