The History Of The Evolution Of The Orthography Of Modern Uyghur Literature

Orthography is the system of spelling which correcting the writing style of oral language,and narrowing the gap.The standardization of orthography is conducive to gradually strengthening the influence of literary language on dialect,and reducing the gap between literary language and dialect.The method of orthography is generally used for the use of morphological rules,historical rules,phonetic rules and classification rules.Morphological rules will keep the roots and affixes of wards in synchronic way,and does not indicate its variation in the text.The historical rules are to represent the vocabulary in terms of the fixed form of history.The phonetic rules are which expressed the phonetic changes by changing of roots and affixes.The historical rules are the rules of classification by generating different speech variations on the roots and affixes.There are great theoretical and practical significance to study the evolution of modern Uyghur orthographical rules.In this paper,historical evolution of orthographic rules for modern Uyghur characters will be the main topic.There are three chapters in this study.Chapter one is mainly introduced the definition,rules and classification of modern Uyghur standard language.Chapter two is main part of this paper,which discussing the historical evolution of orthographic rules for modern Uyghur standard language.It is beginning from former The Soviet union and published on the 1951.Including that,there are two versions in The Soviet union and six versions in China.Chapter three is mainly about the unsolved problems which including the spell way of loanwords,orthography of numerals and basic principles of using punctuation.
