And it has provided lots of materials that criticism about poetry and essay and that reviews about literary ethos.Comparing to the earlier works, Miscellanies in the Southern Song has exploited in many aspects, which not only focus on study about ancient regulations, classical allusions and ancient Chinese characteristic, but also evaluates about poetries, essays and writers. In addition, the skeptical spirit of Song people was vigorously promoted by the boom of Miscellanies writing.Some of literary masters, such as Tao Yuanming, Du Fu, Su Shi and Huang Tingjian, play critical parts in the history of literary development; what's more, those has been paid more attention by Miscellanies in Southern Song, for instance, the deep research of Tao's life track, the correct examine of Du's text works, the multivariate explanation about Su's literary image,and the associated analysis between Huang,and the Jiangxi School' poetry. It was an important part to know the literary thoughts in Southern Song Dynastic.
